Nisha's Blog 8

Hi all,

This week has been a very busy and stressful (for everyone else) as it's month end!

At the start of the week I went around the pitch and took my own photos of the cars and then wrote up last weeks blog! I then worked on my Off The Job learning blog and filled in all the stuff that I have been trained in. On Tuesday I organised the photographs and which cars needed to be done. Then I prepared my posts for the upcoming week.

On Wednesday I got everything ready for the Audi A4 to be filmed however everyone was running around crazy and nobody could move the car for me! So I was promised by everyone to have the car moved for me on Thursday. In the morning I also got taken to an auction and got to meet everyone there and what they do for the process. I also plated all the cars on the pitch with the Audi Approved plates to make them all look nice and professional! Then rushed to post a finance video that my colleague had made.

Towards the end of the week I planned and arranged for the photographs to be taken however, we didn’t get many done as the PDI centre was jam-packed and some of the cars couldn’t be moved and everyone was stressed! I photographed more cars for my posts and created the posts for the day ahead. Then I did my first ever video on an Audi A4 Black Edition! – Give it a watch😊 On Friday it was a very stressful day as it was one of the last days where everyone was in to complete the month end tasks, so I helped everyone out by making the brews all day! I then helped the Used Car Manager to price all of the latest Audi Approved cars that we had on the pitch. And then went and set in my head of business office to join the eClincher webinar training! For the rest of the afternoon I have just helped everyone and have also been exploring the new social media app!

Thankyou,

Nisha💕

Hi all,

This week has been quite busy and full of running around! On Monday I re-wrote and designed the layout of the “My Audi” report that I’m doing. This was helpful for me as it helped me to fully understand the process of what I am doing and will need to do for my project.

On Tuesday I worked off of Modix and with the photographer to see how many photographs of our used car collection hadn’t been done and then I went through the cars which needed to be done and found out where they were and how ready they were to be photographed.

During the middle of the week I planned some posts for the Fleet Facebook page and had a meeting with one of our Motability specialists to see what type of posts we could do to cover that. In the meeting me and the Motability specialist ordered some merchandise which when delivered we can use on the cars sold on a Motability scheme (A1, A3 and Q2) to advertise the scheme we do.

Towards the end of the week I had to run the photographs and liaise with the photographer on both Thursday and Friday to see what cars needed to be photographed. Also all week I was on and off the phone to both Swansway Garages IT department and Escalla as we were all trying to figure out which would be the best free Screen Recorder for me to use on my projects. I also started to make a video of a Azores Green – Q5, however as I was recording it got sold!

On Friday I had another meeting with David Smith where we again discussed what I’m doing good at and what I could do better at, we came up with a few post ideas of what I could do and arranged a time where he would come and film a video with me.

Thankyou,

Nisha💕

Hi all,

This week was full of fun and excitement at Escalla! We started off the week by learning about different topics which occur in everyday life, these were radicalisation, extremism, equality, diversity and the British values. I think these were very important topics to learn about as they are shown in the way that many people around the world behave, these characteristics and acts have shown me that people do not always use these ways in an extreme manner however people can also radicalise and disturb equality and diversity in quite minor ways. Learning about these topics has helped me to open my eyes to how people act in general day to day life.

As the week continued we learnt about more topics and gathered certificates for these in order to be able to use them as evidence. These topics included General awareness, Prevention, British Values, radicalisation, extremism, equality, diversity, mental health awareness, staying safe online, and what can you trust.

Towards the end of the week we filled in the DSE workstation assessment booklet and learnt how to complete a SWOT analysis and to write up a report. Also, as a little extra we all came together to create a presentation on all of the topics that we had learnt throughout the week, which was really fun and helped us to put the topics we had learnt about into more realistic situations like when we did the activities.

Lastly on Friday night when I got home I got the angriest look off my dog as I don't think she was impressed me leaving her for a week and spending it with another dog!😄

Thankyou,

Nisha💕

Hi all,

As always this week has been non-stop and very busy! On Monday I wrote up three finance agreements for the videos I made last week, then I scheduled them to be posted throughout the week. I did have to re-do one as I made a mistake however, I realised before it was too late so it wasn’t a problem.

During the week I helped out with the used car sales by checking the pitch for cars which didn’t have price templates in them then helped to price the cars and put the templates in them.I also had a review meeting with Emma and Lorna where we filled out lots of paperwork and talked about how I’m doing at Preston Audi.

Then after that I read through the “hubspot” training course which advises you on ways to get more instagram followers and engagements.

On Thursday I was left to sort out the arrangements for how the pitch was going to work when the photographer got here, I did this by checking which cars were out on the pitch and which ones were at the PDI Centre, then I had to get the PEG numbers. In the morning I also had a meeting with the Fleet and Motability Manager where we discussed me taking over their social media pages. Once I had the accounts I went through and updated and changed anything that needed improving as the accounts had not been used since 2016.

On Friday I had such a busy day, in the morning I went into a meeting where we listened to a talk about my audi the app, this gave me some help on how I can make my video for it. Then I went through again and sorted everything out for the photographer. For the rest of the day I started to create some general video introductions and then took photos of everyone around the dealership to be used for the Swansway Groups facebook page.
Thankyou,
Nisha💕

Hi all,

This week has been another very busy week, especially Friday! At the start of the week I helped to price some of the used cars we have just bought and printed off the price and template to go in the car. I also spoke to Colette from Swansway and she set me a task to complete throughout the next week so keep your eyes open on the Swansway Garages facebook page!

I had a live chat meeting with lots of different people from Audi dealerships where we were learning about a new potential programme we could use at our dealership and throughout! I also went through the used car stock list and highlighted all of the cars which had not been uploaded to “modix” which puts the cars on our website. As well as finding which cars were not on the programme I tried to add them onto however, we soon realised I don’t have access to that part of the programme and can’t do that task.

On Friday I had my fortnightly meeting with David Smith from Swansway Garages, and he once again showed me the analytics of my impact. Then as it was the 1st March - new car registration day, I was taking photos of all the new 19 Plates and handovers and creating posts for them. In the afternoon a colleague and I made three videos of a Audi Approved Used A7 and two Audi Approved Used A8’s. This took all afternoon so I we ended up rushing to try and get them uploaded!

Thankyou,

Nisha💕
